When it’s worth bringing this topic up

Don’t repeat it the same way every time
Saying “wear your PPE” the same way every week wears people out and nobody really listens anymore. Vary the angle: today, correct fit; next week, when to discard it; after that, what that specific piece of gear actually — and doesn’t — protect against.

Quickly show how to inspect your own PPE before putting it on — that’s worth more than a long speech nobody remembers afterward.
Keep the record
Even if it’s quick, log that it happened — date, topic, who attended. That’s not empty paperwork; it’s a record that the company genuinely cares about this.
