🎯 OBJECTIVE

Raise awareness about how personal problems can impact safety at work and present strategies to maintain focus and prevent accidents.

📖 INTRODUCTORY STORY (4 minutes)

Real Case: João, a forklift operator with 8 years of experience, was facing financial troubles at home. His wife had lost her job and the bills were piling up. On a Monday morning, worried about an overdue power bill, he did not notice that a coworker was passing behind the forklift as he operated the controls.
Luckily, another employee shouted a warning and prevented a serious accident. João realized his mind was not at work—it was at home, calculating the bills and searching for solutions to his financial problems.
Reflection: How many times is our mind not really present at work? How often do we perform tasks on “autopilot” because we are consumed by personal issues?
